Continuing for another 2 kilometers, you’ll encounter the enchanting Hridhayathadakam, a heart-shaped lake that never dries up, even in summer. This lake, with its romantic ambiance and picturesque surroundings, is one of the main attractions of the area. As you ascend, the trail becomes steeper, presenting challenges but rewarding you with a surreal 360-degree view from the summit. Due to the presence of wildlife, overnight camping is not permitted, and while the peak is accessible year-round, it’s advisable to avoid visits during the heavy monsoon season when the terrain can be slippery.
